Gavin's trip to La Pine,Oregon 2011

Well it all began July 1st,2011 Gavin and his crew hoped in the truck and headed down the road to La Pine, Oregon. We arrived in La Pine at around 5:30 pm and Gavin went in and got all ready to head down to the Rodeo Grounds to meet Sunny.. We were all so excited to see what Gavin had in store for him this weekend. Gavin found out what he was going to do in the following days then we headed down to the carnival because who can celebrate the 4th of July without going to the carnival....after that we headed back to the hotel to enjoy some down time. We then got up and went to breakfast making sure that Gavin was full of energy for his performance well as we were sitting eating breakfast the staff at the restaurant noticed that Gavin was the Bullfighting/Clown that was on the Rodeo Flyer they had in there window so as we were leaving they asked him to autograph it for them he was so excited because he had been practicing his autograph just in case.. So then we headed back to the hotel to get ready we then got in all of the attire and make-up and headed to the Rodeo as we arrived the people were so kind to him and so excited about him being there he was able to make sure all the kids were going to have a great time riding those sheep. The Rodeo was ready to begin the announcer says his name asking Gavin to bring in all of the mutton busters to the arena. So it is time Gavin was a little nervous being that he was in front of about 1,000 people but he did so good and had so much fun. After he was done the first day we were able to enjoy the rodeo and have some great family time with all Gavin's biggest Fans which included (MOM & DAD, big brother,Grandma Ruby,Aunt Sara, Grandpa Fred, & Grandma Cindy) some other big fans who weren't able to make it but wish they could of PAPA Joe :(...

The 2nd Rodeo day arrived it has been a busy full trip so far up early again doing breakfast and headed back to the Rodeo for his final performance all done up make-up and all we head down to the Rodeo grounds Gavin is alot more comfortable today ready to do alittle more interacting with the crowd. He had so much fun with some of the kids being alittle nervous about riding the sheep they asked Gavin "hey clown you wanna ride one?" in Gavin's famous words he says "SURE WHY NOT" so he hopes on a sheep and the crowd not sure what is going on as they wait for the next mutton buster to exit the gate the announcer says Well I'm alittle scared about this next rider "Wild Gavin" he wears make-up and as he saying that. The gate flys open and the sheep comes busting out with Gavin holding on as tight as he can and doing a very good job, and with the crowd going crazy Gavin in his way just lets go because he was done even though he could of held on alot longer he runs his way back to the middle of the arena and pumps his arms in the air trying to get the crowd to give all the mutton busters a little love..after all was done Gavin was presented with a great belt buckle that he is so very proud of. Thanks to all that had apart in this Adventure for Gavin he had so much fun and was so blessed to be apart of the La Pine Rodeo.

So after such a great couple of days with Gavin being treated like a Rockstar it was time to head back home. So we were off to the next Rodeo...

"The Making Of GMAN The Clown"

As most of you know Gavin has been raised around the Rodeo Circuit with his cousin Zack.Zack being involved in Riding Bulls in the Jr. Rodeos since he was 5 years old and then Howie, Gavins older Brother decided he wanted to join Zackman in that adventure as well. When Gavin was 2 years old he would watch the PBR Rodeos with all of us, but his favorite PBR Big Name wasn't Justin Mcbride, Ross Coleman, or any of the other Cowboys, it was Flint Rasmussen. Who is that you might ask? Well that is the Funniest Rodeo clown around and that is who Gavin fell in love with. At the age of 2 Gavin decided he didn't wanted to go dressed as a Cowboy, but go dressed as the Clown just like his favorite guy in the PBR. So of course as a mom you let your young cute little boy do what they desire, never guessing that he would then decide he loves dressing up as the Clown, every time we go to a Rodeo. So last year Gavin decided he was going to throw his hat in the Mutton Bustin Arena he did well his first ride and decided to try it again. So of course his Dad said, Hey bud if you stay on the whole way across the arena I will pay you $5. So Gavin got down in the chute and the gate opens, Gavin comes out and is doing well with a good strong hold on the sheep and it looks good and then outta no where he lets go, and falls to the ground.WHAT!!! So we asked him ,Why did you let go? ( Gavin: Because I didn't wanna run all the way back to the chute ) So Gavin decided that was not his thing. So the following Rodeo he asked, mom can I just go as the Clown today I don't wanna ride anymore, so he went dressed up in his attire and he asked the office if he could go in the arena and help the bullfighter during the Mutton Busting and that is when he got the opportunity to be the Bullfighter/Rodeo Clown at a few of the Molalla Jr. Rodeos last year and he Loved every minute of it.

SUMMER 2011

So he has been looking forward to doing this again this summer at the Molalla Jr. Rodeo's this year. Never guessing that his Grandma Ruby would be over in La Pine, Oregon this year on vacation, and have what we would call a (God given opportunity) that only my mom would have, through a conversation ( since she talks to everyone) with a lady who is apart of the La Pine Rodeo Association. After they talked for a while and the lady saw my moms cell phone pictures of Gavin in his Clown Attire, she was asked if her grandson would be interested in being there Rodeo clown/Bullfighter for there Rodeo over the 4th of July.So during the Mutton Busting in La Pine,Oregon my son Gavin and Team will be making a Drive to La Pine, Oregon to fulfill his Dream of being a Rodeo Clown/Bullfighter in his 1st actual live rodeo with lots of fans, so be praying for him in this adventure...

GAVIN'S BEGINNING (Learning to be a Business Man)

Gavin attendend "Grampa's School" (at least that is what he called it)from the time he was very young, and when he turned 4 years old he decided that he was Grandpas partner in his Taxi business and became very interested in owning his own business. Gavin was five (5) years old with one hundred and eight dollars in his bank account. He saw an empty store and thought it would be a good idea for him to buy the store and have his mother and grandma work for him. Grandma told him it cost a lot of money to buy that store but he assured her he could buy it. After all he said, "I have a hundred and eight dollars in my bank account. This conversation inspired Grandma to purchase and set up for Gavin a little Mercantile store, which he received for Christmas of 2010.Gavin not only has candy machines which he has place in Uncle Darins shop, but also has a store on the go , which is a hardback briefcase full of (whatever you need!!!!)
